The major goals of the RIPCS
are to:

 

1. The promotion of the community school model throughout the state with an active advisory board of public and private partners.

 

2. Timely and effective communications about Child Opportunity Zones and community school developments both locally and nationally.

 

3. Advocacy of the RI Child Opportunity Zones and the community school model at the state and local level.

 

4. Assistance to emerging community school programs in the state through professional development, resource development and technical assistance.
